MPS is excited to introduce Daniel Dotson as the next Head Coach of the Golden Eagles Basketball team. Coach Dotson joins the Golden Eagle family after starting his coaching career within the ORES basketball world. We look forward to the upcoming seasons with Coach Dotson in the lead.

**Meet Daniel Dotson**

🏀 Passionate Educator | Coach | Family Man

Proud husband to Savannah and father to our beautiful daughter, Saylor. We share our home with two lovable pups, Hurley (a sheepadoodle) and Goose (a miniature goldendoodle).

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northeastern State University, where I also had the privilege of playing college basketball for three years. My coaching philosophy emphasizes developing individual and team greatness over mere victories. I believe in fostering a strong team culture built on communication, trust, mutual accountability, caring, and pride.

As an educator, my greatest joy comes from positively impacting my students' lives. My proudest professional achievement has been creating an environment in which kids are excited to learn, both in the classroom and on the court. On a personal level, my greatest milestone was accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior, which led me to my wonderful wife.

I am thrilled to embark on this journey as a Golden Eagle, where I can design a program that reflects my values, passions, and strengths while coaching basketball at the high school level.
